Taapsi Ramchandani (Dr. T) is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cultural anthropology, public administration, and user experience research. As the Co-founder and CEO of Poocho since October 2019, Taapsi has demonstrated leadership in entrepreneurial endeavors. Previous roles include Cultural Anthropologist at the Center for Civic Design, where key contributions involved enhancing voter experience for California's election processes, and Technical Consultant for the Caribbean Local Economic Development Project, focusing on gender equality in accessing MSME services. Taapsi has also served as a Qualitative UX Researcher at FactSet, a Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University, and has worked in media as a TV Correspondent and Anchor for CNBC-TV18. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology and a Master’s in Public Administration from Syracuse University, alongside a Bachelor's in Economics and International Studies from Ohio Wesleyan University.
