Felipe Moreno-Piedrahita Hernández currently serves as the Coordinador de la Carrera de Medicina and a professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador since December 2023. Felipe is also an Adjunct Researcher at CISeAL - Centro de Investigación para la Salud en América Latina and previously held the position of President at the Comisión Nacional de Medicamentos e Insumos (CONAMEI) from April to December 2023. Prior roles include National Director of Health Research at the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador and responsibilities as the Head of the Simulation Center and professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador from March 2017 to November 2022. Felipe gathered experience as a Family Physician at Centro de Medicina Familiar La Y CEMEF S.A. from July 2015 to November 2022. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in eHealth from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and several postgraduate degrees in Family Medicine and health technology assessment from renowned institutions.
