Teemu Peltoniemi is a Structural Engineer at Ponsse Oyj since December 2018, specializing in finite element analyses for mobile machines using Ansys WB, focusing on static, dynamic, and fatigue analyses. Additionally, Teemu has served as a Visiting Lecturer at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, teaching an entry-level course in structural analysis during the autumn semesters of 2021 and 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Engineer in Structural Dynamics at FS Dynamics, delivering structural analysis solutions with an emphasis on fatigue analysis and welded steel structures. Teemu has also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Lappeenranta University of Technology, conducting finite element analysis of bolted joints. Earlier roles encompass purchasing at SEW Industrial Gears Oy and positions in the building materials sector. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from LUT University, complemented by exchange studies at Háskóli Íslands.
