Richard "Rick" Polo, Jr. possesses extensive experience in leadership and management roles within various organizations in the engineering and defense sectors. Currently serving as the Army Client Account Manager at Pond & Company since February 2021, Rick previously held the position of Vice President and Program Manager at WSP USA. Their tenure at AECOM included roles in Intelligence Support Services and Global Support Services from January 2014 to February 2021. Rick also served as Vice President of Technical Services at Siemens Government Technologies and held multiple executive roles at CH2M HILL, including Deputy Director for Engineering & Construction in Afghanistan. Other notable positions include Program Director for Ports & Harbors at Parsons and various leadership roles within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Rick holds a Master’s degree in Security Strategy from the National War College, a Master’s in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
