Ben Prouty started their work experience as an entrepreneur in 2006, where they built and consulted for several start-ups, including Streetcar. Ben pursued an MBA at the University of Oxford during this time. In 2013, they joined LOVESPACE as part of the launch team and later became the Head of Corporate Development, contributing to the growth of the storage-by-the-box business. In 2016, they co-founded Shepper and served as the CEO for the first three years, securing £15m in funding. In 2020, Ben became an Entrepreneur in Residence at Kamet Ventures, supporting their portfolio of ventures while leading an incubation project. Later that year, they co-founded PonchoPay and took on the role of CEO, focusing on their automated checkout aggregator in the childcare ecosystem.
Ben Prouty completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from UCL in 2005. Ben pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Management from Imperial College London from 2005 to 2006. Later, in 2011, Ben attended Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. The field of study for their M.B.A. program is not specified.
