Daniel Harrington serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic & Biomedical Sciences at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and holds multiple roles at Rice University, including Adjunct Assistant Professor in Bioengineering and BioSciences, and Associate Director of Collaborative Research Laboratories. With a research focus on the assembly of cells in 3D hydrogels and their applications in regenerative medicine, Harrington's work includes studying complex salivary gland regeneration and prostate cancer models. Other academic roles include previous positions at Northwestern University, where Harrington contributed to tissue engineering and nanotechnology research.
