Tom Burn is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and design management. Currently serving as the Production and Design Manager and CHEO Hub Manager at PolyUnity Tech Inc since December 2022, Tom previously held the position of Mechanical Engineer at Design 1st from July 2018 to November 2022, where responsibilities included collaborating with clients to refine product concepts for mass production. Prior to this, Tom worked as a Hardware Developer at Ericsson from August 2013 to June 2018, leading mechanical design for radio base station products. Earlier experience includes a coop placement as an Engineering Assistant at SKF from May 2011 to August 2012, and a role as Lead Customer Service Representative at Water and Earth Supply from April 2008 to September 2010. Tom earned a Bachelor of Engineering with High Distinction in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University in 2013.
