James Lach is an experienced technical writer with a diverse background in both engineering and journalism. Currently employed at Polypack, Inc. since July 2020, James collaborates with various professionals to create and edit manuals for consumer product shrink wrapping machines, serving prominent clients such as L’Oreal and Hormel. Previously, James worked at Jacobs Technology for two years, focusing on writing and editing documentation for U.S. products and services. With a long tenure at the Tampa Bay Times, spanning over 21 years, James held various editing roles, including senior copy editor and business news editor, where responsibilities included examining and improving the readability of news stories. Early career experience includes roles at Fort Pierce Tribune and Texas Instruments, where James developed skills in copy editing and electrical engineering, respectively. James holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
