Jan-Willem Puttenstein has a diverse work experience in various companies. Jan-Willem is currently working as a Project Manager for Product Development at Polyganics BV since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Project Manager at Gulf Christian Services from June 2019 to May 2021, where they provided medical care, training, leadership, and community development services in Papua New Guinea.
From January 2017 to May 2019, Jan-Willem worked as a Biomedical Engineer at PureIMS, a biopharmaceutical company specializing in inhaled drugs. During their time there, they focused on product and process development, implementation of new technologies, management of the production facility, and preparation of product dossiers.
Before joining PureIMS, Jan-Willem worked at IMDS as a New Product Developer from September 2014 to January 2017. Jan-Willem also had an internship and employment as an Engineer at IMDS, where they worked on the optimization of a balloon catheter design for a PTCA device platform.
Jan-Willem's earliest work experience was as a Pallbearer at Axios dragers from December 2011 to December 2015.
Jan-Willem Puttenstein obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Life Science & Technology from the University of Groningen, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Jan-Willem then pursued their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical Engineering at the same institution, completing it from 2011 to 2014. Prior to their university studies, they attended Carolus Clusius College from 2002 to 2008, where they earned their vwo degree in Natuur & Gezondheid.
