Gaone Koma, PhD, is currently serving as a Materials Development Engineer at Polycare since November 2022, focusing on customer-centric features in material product development and collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with product requirements. Previously, Gaone was a Student Representative on the Postgraduate Research Committee and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Sheffield from November 2018 to September 2021, where responsibilities included advocating for student interests and conducting practical laboratory classes for first and second-year engineering students. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MSc in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Sheffield and a BEng in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
