Peter Laws is a highly experienced compliance professional with a strong background in the insurance sector. As Compliance Director at PoloWorks since August 2018, Peter serves as the Compliance Officer, MLRO, and a member of the board of directors at Polo Managing Agency Ltd. Previously, Peter held senior compliance roles at AXIS Capital and Asta Capital Limited, demonstrating expertise in regulatory compliance within Lloyd's. With a foundation in education, including a PhD from the University of Leeds and an MA from the University of Oxford, Peter's diverse background includes teaching and auditing prior to specializing in compliance.
