Jason Polensky is an experienced educator and coach with a robust background in teaching, sports, and writing. Currently serving as an Individuals and Societies Teacher, Head Water Polo Coach, and Head Swim Coach at Taft High School since March 2011, Jason has also coached softball and basketball during their tenure. Additionally, since March 2021, Jason has been an iss teacher and Beer School Teacher at Pollyanna Brewing and Distilling, where responsibilities include bartending and facilitating education in brewing. Jason has experience as a Chicago White Sox Beat Writer for Overtime Heroics and previously held positions as a Fundamentals Manager with the Chicago White Sox and a Legal Researcher at Law Bulletin Media. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in History from Pace University, a Bachelor of Education in History Teacher Education from Trinity Christian College, and legal training from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
