Gian Lucas Nunes de Almeida is an experienced professional in Automation Management, currently serving as an Automation Manager and Automation Team Lead at Pollux, part of Accenture, since February 2016. In this role, Gian is responsible for overseeing the activities of the Industrial Automation team and applies Agile methodologies in project management. Previously, as an Automation Analyst, Gian developed and monitored national and international Industrial Automation projects, utilizing technologies such as Siemens and Rockwell PLCs, Kuka and UR robots, LabVIEW, Python programming, as well as vision systems from Cognex and Keyence. Gian began an early career as an intern, focusing on research and development for 1D and 2D code decoding in pharmaceutical applications. Educationally, Gian holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (2011 - 2016) and a Technical degree in Electromechanics from SENAI/SC (2009 - 2010).
