Mike Gielow brings over 35 years of extensive experience in law enforcement and sports officiating. Currently serving in a retirement role at Polizei Hamburg since August 2023, Mike previously held various positions within the organization, including roles as a specialized dog handler and civil investigator. In addition to law enforcement, Mike has been actively involved in the German football community as a referee observer and coach for several organizations since 2006, including the DFB and NFV. Mike also contributes to the education of police officers as a lecturer at the Hamburger Fußball-Verband e.V. and has a background in training police recruits and providing coaching in both law enforcement and sports officiating. Mike's educational credentials include advanced training in specialized dog handling and police training methodologies from various academies in Hamburg.
