Helen Broemmelsiek Dubas has an extensive work experience in various roles within the media industry. Helen started their career as a Communication and Marketing Intern at the American Heart Association in 2008. Helen later worked as a Public Affairs Intern at the Virginia Tech College of Natural Resources from 2006 to 2009. In 2009, they had internships at Octagon and Virginia Tech as a part of their academic journey. Helen then joined POLITICO as a Managing Director, Team Lead, Corporate and Brand Partnerships in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Government Executive Media Group as a Publisher from 2021 to 2023. From 2017 to 2021, they held various roles at Government Executive Media Group and Atlantic Media, including Vice President of Advertising and Managing Director of Advertising. Earlier in their career, they took on roles at Government Executive, National Journal, and Virginia Tech, primarily in account management, sales, and marketing. Throughout their career, Helen has gained diverse experience in advertising, partnerships, publishing, and media.
