Kai V. currently serves as the Head of the Security Sector Reform Section at EUPOL COPPS since October 2023. With extensive experience in law enforcement, Kai V. has held various leadership roles, including Chief Superintendent at the National Police Board, focusing on Public Order and Safety since June 2021, and Detective Chief Inspector leading the Technical Surveillance Unit at the National Bureau of Investigation from June 2018 to May 2021. Previous positions include Chief Inspector at Eastern Uusimaa police department, Senior Police Advisor at EUPOL COPPS, and various roles within Finnish Customs and police training institutions. Kai V. holds an MBA from Laurea University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement and Leadership from the Police College of Finland.
