Leonardo Gonzalez is currently the Relationship Manager for Advisor Relations at Polen Capital. Leonardo has over 10 years of experience in wealth management and primary market research.

Gonzalez began their career as a Country Research Director for Oxford Business Group where they were responsible for leading field-based market research to gauge the feasibility of FDI opportunities across global emerging and frontier economies located in the EMENA and APAC regions. During their time with Oxford Business Group, Gonzalez initiated contact with Heads of State, Cabinet Ministers, and CEOs of leading global companies in order to acquire support for country projects. Leonardo also managed projects in The Philippines, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (Ras al Khaimah) and Sultanate of Oman.

In 2011, Gonzalez left Oxford Business Group to join Merrill Lynch as a Wealth Management Advisor. In this role, they were responsible for creating and executing disciplined investment strategies to assist clients to achieve and protect wealth accumulation. Leonardo was also knowledgeable in subjects related to equities, fixed income, ETF, mutual funds, alternative investments, and annuities.

Gonzalez has been with Polen Capital since January 2014 and currently serves as the Relationship Manager for Advisor Relations. Leonardo is responsible for managing relationships with Polen Capital’s investment advisors, developing and executing business plans to grow advisor relationships, and coordinating advisor events and communications.

Leonardo Gonzalez reports to Jeff Diamond, Head, Advisor Relations. Leonardo Gonzalez works with Greg Moro - Relationship Associate, Advisor Relations, Pj Fitzgerald - Relationship Manager, Advisor Relations, and Katie Shepardson - Relationship Manager, Advisor Relations.
