Sam Putrah has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sam began their career at EI Microcircuits as a Manufacturing Engineer II - New Product Introduction (NPI) from April 2015 to May 2018. Sam then joined Energy Management Collaborative (EMC) as a Project Manager from May 2018 to April 2022. Currently, they work at Polaris Inc. as a Sr. Sourcing Lead - IoT & Connected Vehicle since September 2022.
Sam Putrah graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Manufacturing Engineering in 2015. Prior to that, they attended Riverland Community College from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Electrician. Sam went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Minnesota State University, Mankato, which they completed in 2018.
In addition to their formal education, Sam has also obtained several certifications. Sam received a certification as a Certified Senior Lighting Technician (CSLT) from NALMCO in November 2018. Sam also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, which they obtained in March 2016. Sam has further certifications including IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies from EI Microcircuits in August 2015, and an OSHA 30 Hour Safety Certification from Minnesota State University, Mankato in May 2013. Currently, they are in progress of obtaining a certification in Global Procurement & Sourcing from Rutgers University, which they are expected to complete in September 2022. Additionally, they have completed a course on Internet of Things: Business Implications and Opportunities from MIT Sloan School of Management in August 2021.
