Simbarashe Mambiri is a Process Engineer at Polaris EPC since August 2022, specializing in the Front End Engineering and Design of petrochemical and refining process facilities, as well as troubleshooting and debottlenecking processes. Simbarashe also serves as an Associate Researcher at McNeese State University, focusing on optimal reaction pathways for reducing coking in acrolein catalyst applications and developing zeolite-based catalysts. Previous leadership roles include Vice President of the Student Government Association and Resident Director at McNeese State University. Simbarashe has been recognized as a Graduate Fellow by Schmidt Futures following participation in the Reimagine Challenge of 2020. Earlier experiences include internships at Sasol and Mwana Africa Plc in research and metallurgical engineering, respectively. Simbarashe holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from McNeese State University and a High School Diploma from St George's College in Zimbabwe.
