Matti Kinnunen is a Senior Researcher at Polar Electro Oy, focusing on the Polar Research Center and Sensor Technologies since November 2019. Prior to this role, Matti served as the Director of Allied ICT Funding Services at Allied ICT Finland from April 2018 to October 2019, where efforts were made to enhance Finnish R&D investments through collaboration among various research institutes, cities, and companies. Matti also contributed to the HILLA funding services at the University of Oulu from March 2016 to March 2018, aiming to foster scalable products and services for global markets. Matti Kinnunen holds a Doctor of Science in Technology degree in Applied Electronics from the University of Oulu, earned between 2003 and 2006.
