Esa Tuulari is a Principal Scientist at Polar Electro Oy, working in the Algorithms & Data Science team within the Polar Research Center since October 2004. Prior to this role, Esa served as a Principal Engineer at VTT from March 1994 to September 2004, managing various research projects and international collaborations. Esa also gained experience as a Visiting Scientist at Philips Research from June 2002 to June 2003, focusing on Ambient Intelligence. Earlier in the career, Esa was a Software Engineer at Datex-Ohmeda from October 1987 to July 1992, specializing in software development for anesthesia monitors. Esa holds a Dr.Tech. in Computer Technology and a Master of Science in Biophysics, both from the University of Oulu.
