Mat Jones

Senior Global Director, Partner Marketing at Points

Mat Jones has a diverse work experience history. Mat started their career as a Recruitment Consultant at Oho Group in 2008 and then moved on to become an Account Executive at Aimia Inc in 2010. In 2012, they transitioned to Sainsbury's where they held various roles including Customer Communications Executive, New Channel Manager, and Direct Marketing Manager. During their time at Sainsbury's, Mat was responsible for managing direct marketing campaigns, developing loyalty propositions, and implementing digital coupon sites. Since 2017, they have been working at Points (a Plusgrade company), initially as a Manager, Partner Marketing, then as a Senior Manager, Partner Marketing EMEA, and currently as the Global Director of Partner Marketing. In their current role, Mat oversees Points' marketing activity, leads the marketing teams in different offices, and drives the data-led marketing strategy for the company's growth.

Mat Jones attended Newcastle University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in History with a 2.1 honors classification. In September 2020, they also obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn.
