Tanisha Nigam is a Bachelor of Applied Science candidate in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo, expected to graduate in 2026. Tanisha has gained diverse experience through multiple internships, including roles as a Product Manager Intern at PointClickCare, a Data Engineer Intern at Scotiabank, and a Pro Bono Consultant at IBM. Additional experience includes serving as a Software Engineer Intern at Healthcare Systems R&A Inc., an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Vision and Image Processing Group, and a DevOps Software Engineer Intern at Manulife. Prior to these roles, Tanisha was the Operations Manager at Waterloop and worked as a Technical Analyst Intern at BlackBerry. Tanisha co-founded Xpand, where Tanisha served as President while also working as a Teaching Assistant at Kumon North America, Inc. Educational background includes attendance at Hodan Nalayeh Secondary School, from which Tanisha graduated in 2021.
