Dasia Moore is an MFA candidate in poetry at New York University's Creative Writing Program. Dasia is the Lillian Vernon Fellow in Poetry, currently exploring Blackqueer freedoms, histories, and futures through their work. In addition, Dasia is an adjunct instructor in creative writing, a Flagship Scholar at Point Foundation, and has held various positions at prestigious organizations such as the Academy of American Poets and Boston Globe Media. Dasia has a strong background in academia and community development, with a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Politics & Economics from Yale University, and Dasia is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry at NYU.
