Lara White is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in conservation science. Currently serving as the STRAW Project Manager at Point Blue Conservation Science since October 2013, Lara has also held various roles within the organization, including STRAW Restoration and Outreach Technician and Farallon Islands Intern. Prior to their current position, Lara worked as an Avian Ecologist, Eco Monitor, and Environmental Compliance Intern at notable organizations such as Iris Science Academy and Island Conservation. Lara's early career includes significant contributions as a Bird Banding Intern and Intern Biologist for the Snowy Plover Project, as well as research assistance on the Golden-Crowned Sparrow project at UC Santa Cruz. Lara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies/Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
