Kate Howard is a seasoned wildlife biologist with extensive experience in avian research and conservation. Currently, Kate serves as a Partner Biologist at Point Blue Conservation Science since September 2015. Prior roles include Field Technician at Teton Raptor Center, where Kate ran bird-banding stations, and Graduate Research Assistant at Tarleton State University, focusing on Black-shouldered Kites in Swaziland. Additional experience encompasses telemetry work at Michigan State University, various field research intern and assistant positions, and bird-banding roles at multiple organizations. Kate holds a Master’s of Science in Agriculture and Natural Resource Science from Tarleton State University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Wildlife Conservation and Management from Humboldt State University.
