Eino Solje currently serves as the Director of the UEF Brain Research Unit at the University of Eastern Finland, a position held since January 2023, where the unit focuses on clinical academic research and trials related to neurodegenerative diseases and cerebrovascular disorders. Since April 2024, Eino has also held the title of Associate Professor at the University of Eastern Finland and serves as the Deputy Chief Physician of Neurology at Pohjois-Savon hyvinvointialue. Previously, Eino worked as a neurologist at Kuopio University Hospital and as a Research Director and Adjunct Professor at the University of Eastern Finland. Eino holds a PhD in Medicine with a specialization in Neurology and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Eastern Finland.
