Mike Orellana Minchala is an experienced professional in the music and library sectors, currently serving as an Access Services Assistant at Poets House since February 2024. Previous roles include a Student Worker at Elmer Holmes Bobst Library, where project strategies were implemented to manage a media catalog, and various marketing internships with organizations such as France Rocks Inc., where digital marketing strategies were enhanced, and #iVoted, contributing to significant social media outreach. Mike has also gained experience in event management and artist promotion through internships with Live Nation Entertainment and Collective Entertainment, Inc. A graduate of NYU Steinhardt School with a Bachelor of Music in Music Business, Mike brings a diverse skill set in marketing, administration, and customer service.
