Anastacia R. serves as a Teaching Faculty member at Cave Canem Foundation, Inc. since March 2024, engaging participants in exploring the depths of poetry and its cultural influences. Currently an Educator at Poets House since August 2023, Anastacia R. has been a self-employed writer since January 2017 and holds positions as an Adjunct & Visiting Writer at Seattle University since August 2019, focusing on creative writing and poetry. Previous experience includes serving as a Catapult Instructor from January 2022 to March 2023, a Seattle Civic Poet from August 2017 to August 2019 for the Seattle Government, and a long-term Workshop Facilitator and Poet in Residence at Richard Hugo House. Anastacia R. graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
