Jeffrey Heikes serves as the Senior Vice President of Research at POET since June 2002, contributing significantly to the bioethanol industry. Their previous roles at POET include Regional Vice President, where oversight was provided to 7-10 General Managers across bioethanol facilities in eight states, and Vice President of Project Management-Engineering, leading project scope development, budgeting, and scheduling. Prior to joining POET, Jeffrey held various positions at Interstates Engineering, including Operations Manager, responsible for project execution, financial performance, and design standards. Jeffrey earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from South Dakota Mines, completing the degree from 1994 to 1999.
