John Mulhern has a strong background in software engineering and technology, with over 20 years of experience in various roles. John is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Podium Education, joining in April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Trusona as a Software Engineer from January 2020 to April 2021, and as a Site Reliability Engineer from April 2019 to January 2020.

Before their time at Trusona, John held multiple roles at Glynlyon Inc., starting as a Flash Programmer from February 2001 to March 2003 during highschool. John then worked as a Production Operator at Wells Fargo from March 2003 to May 2004, followed by a Customer Service Representative position at FedEx Office from May 2004 to November 2005. John interned at Arizona State University from April 2006 to December 2006, and later worked as a Biller at Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. from August 2006 to May 2007.

In 2007, John interned at Charles Schwab as part of the Schwab Technology internship program. Following that, they joined General Dynamics C4 Systems as a Software Engineer I from June 2008 to August 2010, where they worked on the key management system for a satellite communication system. After that, they returned to Glynlyon Inc. and held multiple roles including Java Developer, Lead Java Developer, Staff Software Engineer, and Site Reliability Engineer, working on various projects and leading development teams.

John has gained a wide range of skills and experience throughout their career, including software development, site reliability engineering, team leadership, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and project management.

John Mulhern attended Arizona State University from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school education at Mountain Pointe High School. In addition to their formal education, John has obtained several certifications, including "Coding for Data - Part 2" and "Coding for Data - Part 1" from Global Tech in May 2023 and March 2023 respectively. John also holds an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon, which they obtained in July 2018.
