Gabriel Costa is a skilled data scientist and machine learning engineer currently working at Mercado Livre since August 2024 and serving as a content creator for Towards Data Science since June 2024, where knowledge in Data Science and Information Theory is shared. Previously, Gabriel worked at WillowTree from January 2023 to July 2024, focusing on time series analysis and forecasting for crop seed demand, which improved strategic production and harvesting decisions. Additionally, as a Scientific Initiation Researcher at FAPESP from August 2021 to August 2022, Gabriel contributed to measuring aerosol vertical profiles in the Amazon using lidar techniques and represented the university at an international research symposium. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, completed in December 2022.
