Jaime "Tony" Apodaca is an experienced energy efficiency engineer currently serving as the Business Energy Efficiency Program Manager and Energy Efficiency Project Manager at Public Service Company of New Mexico since February 2020. Prior to this role, Apodaca worked at Union Pacific Railroad as a Freight Train Conductor and held various positions at El Paso Electric Company over a 15-year span, including Regulatory Case Manager, Power Plant Shift Supervisor, and Energy Trader. Apodaca’s military background includes service in the US Navy from August 1992 to December 2000 as a Machinist's Mate, earning multiple medals and commendations. Apodaca holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering with a Manufacturing Specialization from The University of Texas at El Paso, completed between 2001 and 2003.
