Silvana Bardelli, PhD, serves as the Scientific Director of Medical Communications at OPEN Health since February 2023 and is a member of the Patient Engagement Interest Group at the PM Society since November 2017. Bardelli has extensive experience in the field of regenerative medicine and advanced therapies, having held roles such as Scientific Lead at PHASE II and Subject Matter Expert and Senior Medical Writer at emotive. Contributions to the Italian Medicines Agency and the Cardiocentro Ticino Foundation highlight expertise in clinical development. Bardelli's academic background includes postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard Medical School and degrees in Human Molecular Genetics and Cytogenetics from the University of Insubria.
