Jennifer 8. Lee is a prominent figure in digital publishing and cultural innovation, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Writing Atlas, dedicated to creating a comprehensive catalogue of short stories. As CEO of Plympton since April 2012, Jennifer has co-founded a literary studio that has disbursed millions to writers. Jennifer also co-founded the Credibility Coalition, an interdisciplinary group improving online content standards, and holds the position of Co-Chair for the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Media, Entertainment, and Sport. Additionally, Jennifer has contributed as a producer to several documentaries, including The Emoji Story and The Search for General Tso, and has played key roles in emoji advocacy through Emojination and the Unicode Consortium. Jennifer is a board member of Hacks/Hackers, a global network focused on technology and journalism, and has an educational background that includes a BA in Applied Math and Economics from Harvard University and a fellowship in International Relations at Peking University.
