David P. is an experienced music educator and performer with a robust background in teaching strings and general music. Currently serving as a Strings Teacher and General Music Teacher at Plymouth Public Schools since July 2018, David P. has also maintained a private teaching studio since 2006, offering instruction in violin, viola, and cello. Previous roles include Director of El Sistema Somerville and Strings Teacher at Somerville Public Schools, as well as various freelance positions as a violinist and violist. David P. holds a Master’s in Music Education from Boston University and a Bachelor’s of Humanities and Arts in Violin Performance and Anthropology from Carnegie Mellon University.
