Tonya Brunetti is an accomplished computational biologist with extensive experience in high performance computing and bioinformatics. Currently serving as Co-Director of High Performance Computing Resources at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Tonya facilitates access to computing resources for scientists. In the role of Senior Lead Computational Biologist, Tonya specializes in analyzing and developing software tools related to immunology and microbiology, focusing on advanced methodologies such as neoantigen analysis and RNA sequencing. Prior to this, Tonya held positions at the University of Chicago as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar, where research centered around cancer transcriptional regulation, and at the University of New Mexico during graduate studies, which included diverse laboratory techniques and undergraduate teaching. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular/Cell Biology from The University of New Mexico, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
