Mark June-Wells, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Mark is currently serving as the Chief Science Officer at Organic Remedies Medical Marijuana since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Science Advisor at both Aloha Green Apothecary and Supercritical Mass Laboratories starting from 2019 and 2017 respectively. Mark also co-founded Bravo Goal Keeping/IBPM in 2019.

Mark's experience extends beyond the medical and scientific fields. Mark worked as a Principal Consultant at Aquatic Ecosystem Research LLC. from 2014 to 2023, where they specialized in freshwater ecosystem consulting. In addition, they were a Principal Consultant at Sativum Consulting Group from 2017 to 2020, providing clients with laboratory design and production-scale equipment sourcing.

Furthermore, Mark was the Laboratory Director at Connecticut Pharmaceutical Solutions from 2014 to 2017, conducting research on essential oil extraction and refinement. Mark also worked as a Limnologist and Plant Ecologist at New England Environmental, Inc. from 2013 to 2014, designing lake and water quality management plans.

Earlier in their career, Mark served as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station from 2010 to 2012 and as a Doctoral Research Fellow and Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University from 2006 to 2010.

Mark June-Wells, Ph.D. earned a Ph.D. in Botany/Plant Ecology from Rutgers University - Newark, completing their studies from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences at the same institution between 2003 and 2005. Mark also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, which they obtained from Southern Connecticut State University from 1999 to 2003.
