Jon Garro CSCS is a seasoned professional in the fitness and wellness industry, currently serving as General Manager for Optum Workplace Well-being at Plus One, an Optum Company, since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jon held several positions at Plus One, including General Manager and Director of Personal Training, and served as Fitness Operations Manager at Lawrence Family JCC. With an educational background in Sports Medicine from Merrimack College and a certificate in Human Resources Management from San Diego State University, Jon has leveraged expertise in fitness instruction, program development, and business operations throughout a diverse career, including roles as a Fitness and Wellness Instructor at the University of San Diego and as Head Trainer at Addies Studio. Jon's earlier experience in marketing and business development at SportsForce has further enhanced skills in athlete promotion and client relationship management.
