Rahul Chavan started their work experience in 2007 as a Plant Chemical Engineer at tor minerals. In 2008, they moved on to Enersol tech where they served as a Chemical Process Engineer until 2011. From 2011 onwards, they joined Plus Group of companies as a Process Engineer.

Rahul Chavan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Chemical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 1996 to 2001. Rahul then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville from 2004 to 2007. In 2016, they attended Xavier University where they became a Certified Project Manager, although their field of study is not specified.
