Eliot Sayles is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and operations, currently serving as the VP of Engineering, Platform Operations at Pluralsight since August 2013. Eliot has successfully led multiple teams focused on shared services, systems, data, software, identity management, product security, and cloud engineering. Key achievements include scaling the Cloud Engineering and DevOps teams to support a microservices architecture and implementing a multi-account AWS architecture for improved application resilience. Prior roles at Pluralsight include Director of Ops/DevOps and Director of IT Operations, where Eliot's leadership contributed to significant company growth from 70 to over 700 employees. Eliot's career also includes experience as a Senior System Administrator at TrainSignal and as a Technology Consultant at Johnson Price Sprinkle PA, complemented by an education from the University of North Carolina Asheville and Emory University.
