Robin Willick has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Currently, at Plug Power, they work as a Controls Engineer for the GenSure high power stationary applications team. Their responsibilities include installing and demonstrating products, developing controls using Siemens PLC, and supporting lab testing and failure analysis.
Prior to this, Robin worked at John Deere as an Electrical Systems Engineer, Diagnostics Owner, and Functional Safety Lead. In this role, they authored requirements and architecture diagrams, investigated defects and field events, and collaborated with cross-functional teams. They also worked as a Product Engineer in the Engineering Development Program, where they rotated through different placements, including Systems Engineer and Factory Master Planning.
Robin also had experience at the University of New Haven, where they worked as an Engineering Living Learning Community Tutor, Tagliatela College of Engineering Ambassador, and Undergraduate Research Fellow. In these roles, they conducted energy benchmarking, created energy baselines, collected data for energy benchmarking projects, and engaged communities in energy conservation initiatives.
Additionally, Robin worked as a Project Coordinator Intern in the Media Division at SDG Corporation and as an Engineering Intern at Celtic Energy, Inc. They also had an internship at KidsOutAndAbout.
Robin Willick received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in System Engineering from the University of New Haven, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
