Nicholas Kouri has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Nicholas currently works at Plug Power as a Change Engineer, where they coordinate and facilitates engineering changes for field trials and new product lines. Nicholas also collects and analyzes data regarding these changes to determine actionable metrics. Prior to their role at Plug Power, Nicholas worked at Velodyne LiDAR, Inc. as a Development Engineer, bridging the gap between the R&D design team and manufacturing. Nicholas'sresponsibilities included testing new designs and validating proof of concept. Nicholas also worked at Camsensor Technologies as a Machine Vision Engineer, developing embedded software for industrial machine vision applications. In addition, they had an internship as an Applications Engineer at ESI, where they developed and demonstrated laser processes to meet customer needs. Nicholas gained masters level experience in Optical Materials and Devices as a Graduate Student in Optics at the University of Oregon. Nicholas also has experience in leadership and mentoring as a Resident Advisor and Swim Instructor at the Oregon Institute of Technology and Dublin Swim Center, respectively.
Nicholas Kouri pursued their education in a systematic manner. Nicholas started by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Oregon Institute of Technology. This four-year program spanned from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they went on to complete a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Applied Physics in Optics at the University of Oregon. This particular program took place from 2014 to 2015.
