Johannes König has work experience in various companies and roles. Johannes started their career as a Student Research Assistant at FEV Europe GmbH in October 2017 and worked there until March 2019. Johannes then joined Bugatti Engineering GmbH, where they completed their Bachelor Thesis and Internship from April 2019 to December 2019. Following this, they worked as a Scientific Research Assistant at the Lehrstuhl für Thermodynamik mobiler Energiewandlungssysteme, RWTH Aachen University, from March 2020 to June 2021. Johannes also undertook a Master Thesis during this time, from July 2021 to May 2022. Most recently, they joined Plug Power in May 2022 as a Working Student before transitioning to their current role as a Process Engineer.

Johannes König started their education in 2015 at RWTH Aachen University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Maschinenbau. Johannes completed this program in 2020. Subsequently, from 2020 to 2022, Johannes enrolled in a Master of Science program in Energietechnik at the same university, RWTH Aachen, where they successfully obtained their degree.
