Gilbert Hegermiller has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. In 2012, they began their professional journey as an Engineering Intern at the Riverhead Town Engineering Department. In 2013, they continued their internship experience at the Suffolk County Department of Public Works and H2M architects + engineers.

Moving forward, Hegermiller joined SpaceX in 2014 as a GSE Engineering Intern before transitioning into a full-time position. At SpaceX, they worked as a Test Equipment Engineer and Test Equipment Engineer 2 from 2015 to 2019.

In 2019, Hegermiller joined Plug Power as a Systems Engineer, H2. Gilbert held this role until 2020 when they were promoted to the position of Senior System Engineer, H2. Their work experience showcases their expertise and growth in the field of engineering.

Gilbert Hegermiller pursued their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering from 2011 to 2016 at Cornell University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.
