farshid started their career as a Process Engineer at NIOC in 1998 and worked there until 2006.

farshid then joined CH2M HILL as a Process Engineer, where they performed tasks such as creating FLARENET models and sizing flare lines and process equipment.

In 2008, they transitioned to SNC Lavalin as a Chemical Engineer and continued working there until 2011.

Following that, they joined IMV Projects as a Senior Process Engineer from 2011 to 2013.

Farshid then worked at Agrium as a Senior Process Engineer, where they were involved in detail designs, management of changes, and HAZOP studies.

In 2016, they joined IHS Markit as a Process Engineer, specializing in developing HYSYS models for various units of oil and gas plants.

In 2018, they joined Upside Engineering Ltd. as a Process Engineer, where they prepared HYSYS and Flarenet models, developed P&ID, sized PSVs, and performed hydraulic calculations.

From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Kiewit Engineering, a Creative Synergies Group, as a Process Engineer.
