James Deane currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at PLP since December 2023. Prior to this role, James held the position of CFO and Finance Director at Chancerygate from June 2008 to May 2023, overseeing all financial activities including accounting and banking relationships. James also worked as a Corporate Finance and Investment Analyst at Quintain Limited from September 2003 to May 2008 and began a career as a Chartered Accountant at PwC, where employment spanned from October 1993 to August 2003. James earned a degree in Economics and Modern History from the University of St Andrews between 1989 and 1993.
