Sunshine Vostmyer is an experienced publishing professional currently serving as a Publishing Editor at the Public Library of Science (PLOS) since March 2021. Previously, Sunshine worked as an Acquisitions Editor - Research at Callisto Media from May 2019 to August 2020, and as a Publications Assistant at PLOS from June 2018 to May 2019. Sunshine's editorial journey began at the University of California Press, where work as an Editorial Assistant took place from January 2017 to June 2018. Additional experience includes a role as a Writing Tutor at the University of California, Berkeley, and an Editorial Intern at Stone Pier Press. Sunshine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
