Tom Tytgat is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Finance and Controlling Manager at Ploegsteert, Prefaxis, and Douterloigne since October 2023. From January 2020 to November 2023, Tom held the position of Plant Controller at Ferro Corporation. Prior to that, Tom worked as a Senior Auditor at BDO Belgium from July 2017 to January 2020, and as an Auditor at KPMG Belgium from September 2015 to July 2017. Tom began a career in finance with student jobs at Van Marcke and a traineeship at Recticel Insulation. Tom holds a Master's degree in Handelswetenschappen with a focus on accountancy from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree in business management and entrepreneurship from Katholieke Hogeschool Zuid-West-Vlaanderen. Educational background also includes studies at Sint-Aloysiuscollege Menen and Sint-Pauluscollege Wevelgem.
