Clark Peterson has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field. In 2021, they began working as a Scientist I, Discovery Biology at Plexium. Prior to this, they were a Ph.D. Student - Metabolic Biology and Laboratory Manager / Research Technician at UC Berkeley from 2014-2021. Clark also worked as a Research Associate I at MyoKardia in 2014. Before that, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant - Epps Lab and an Undergraduate Research Assistant - McEvoy Lab at Oregon State University from 2011-2014.

Clark Peterson obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from Oregon State University between 2008 and 2013. Clark also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Oregon State University during the same time period. In 2015, they began a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Metabolic Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed in 2020.
